Where it began... 3

1988-1989:
Trilogy began, as the name would imply, as three friends, Terry Stafford (Frijid Pink, The Reflections & Gunslinger), Gary Michels & Jim Alexander (Generation Gap), playing songs and performing downriver clubs and events.

1993:
Trilogy auditions and hires Keyboardist/Vocalist Tim Adkins (Frijid Pink, Systematic Devices, Gunslinger). The goals of the band were simple; Play what people want to hear, Have fun & make them dance.

1996:
Trilogy incorporates as Trilogy Tri-Core Inc.& began performing at somewhat larger events. Soon after the band incorporated, Jim Alexander (Founding Guitarist) left to pursue personal goals.
Trilogy auditions and hires Frank Wieskowiak "Nick West" (Sierra) to replace Jim. Trilogy also auditions & hires John Liddell (Steve King & the Dittlies) to fill the newly created horn position and works periodically with John on larger events.

1998:
Founding bassist Terry Stafford is forced to leave the group to fulfill career obligations. Trilogy auditions a few potential replacements and eventually hires Jim Carter (Sierra) as the new Bassist/Vocalist.

1998-2002:
Gary, Tim, Nick & Jim Play hundreds of engagements including venues such as VH1's Save the Music Concert Series, The Motor City Casino,City Festivals and countless Corporate Events.
In early '98 Trilogy launches "Trilogy-Band.com"
In 2002, the band desolves the corporation and returns to a DBA status.


2002:
Trilogy auditions and hires Lloyd Slaven (Mersy Beat) as Guitarist/Keyboardist/Vocalist/Trombonist to add a little more versitility to the line up.
Jim Carter is replaced by returning, founding Bassist, Terry Stafford.

 

2003:
Nick West leaves the band and Trilogy auditions and hires Dennis Gabbeart as his replacement.

 Today:
Trilogy has evolved into a dynamic entertainment experience featuring a six piece line up of hand picked professional musicians/vocalists.
We offer an incredible amount of versitility as our musicians double on multiple instruments &
6 quality vocalists covering a variety of musical styles.
