Gary Michels
Garys' Bio
Gary began playing music at an early age starting with the drums. Growing up in
Detroit he was greatly influenced by the Motown sound.
In 1967 Gary joined the U.S. Army and was stationed overseas in Germany. He
soon formed a band with fellow enlistee's and they performmed at the Officers
and Enlisted Mens Clubs. Soon therafter the group began playing clubs and
concerts off base.
Gary was married in 1970 and has Three children & Four grandchildren
He has been employed with BP for 20 some years & is
looking forward to retirement in the coming years. Gary's interests include: Golf Sports Music Spending time with his family
Gary has performmed with a number of bands throughout his carreer even playing
Bass for a few years with The Generation Gap Band
Gary is the only founding member of Trilogy to have never left the band to
pursue other interests. He was there in the beginning and will be there in the
end, that's just how he is.
